Terms of Service — Omnicon for Shopify

By installing the Omnicon for Shopify app, you agree to these terms. The broader Omnicon Cloud terms of service also apply.

1. What the app does

Omnicon for Shopify is a content studio embedded in your Shopify admin. It lets you draft, AI-generate, organize, schedule, and publish blog articles from Omnicon into Shopify blogs. It runs on Shopify's App Bridge inside the Shopify admin iframe and authenticates each request via Shopify-issued session tokens.

You agree not to: (a) publish content that violates Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, or third-party intellectual-property rights; (b) use the AI generation features to create spam, deceptive marketing, or content impersonating identifiable individuals without consent; (c) attempt to circumvent rate limits or scope restrictions on the Shopify Admin API.

5. AI-generated content

AI-generated text is a starting draft. You're responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI output before publishing — including factual claims about your products, pricing, and policies. We don't warrant the accuracy or originality of AI output.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, Shopify-side outages, and OpenAI API outages can all affect functionality. Scheduled publishes that fail will retry with exponential backoff for up to 5 attempts before being marked Failed.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms or Shopify's terms. On termination we follow the deletion timing described in our privacy policy.

8. Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. We're not liable for loss of revenue, data, or reputation arising from use of the app, beyond the amounts paid for the most recent billing period.

We'll update the "last updated" date when material changes are made and post a notice in the embedded admin's dashboard.
